I wonder if Katie is his significant other, and a bit fiery.
i know Matt and i would suggest he was more the nutty proffesor than the nutty proffesor is
the chilli itself was actually created by a guy in Bristol called Nick who named 2 cross pollinated chillis after his 2 daughters Katy and Lucy
and Katy insisted on being the hotter chilli being the hotter daughter
Nick does not want the limelight, all he wants is to grow chillis
he let Matt have the seeds and he has grown them this year with startling results BUT the slight fly in the ointment is that the hotest result is from 1 single pod not as guiness records would require a sample of all pods from various plants but still 1.5 mill for the pod or 1.3 for the average is still up there with the hottest ever produced in the UK
i tried these pods at Upton chilli festival this year and damn near drunk the bar dry
trouble is with this game is all now are after the hottest...every man and his dog is crossing pods to try to get the hottest results but they keep forgetting its about the flavour, not just the heat..TLO has left the building.......

Cant agree more Nick, all about the flavour but there are also some spectacularly beautiful looking chilli's also.
