Flashing DSC light

Hi all

I went to start my D3 this afternoon and had a flashing DSC light. When turning the key in the ignition the engine would not turn over and there was an fast clicking (machine gun like) noise for about 10 seconds. I've also run the battery flat trying to start it!

Any ideas on DSC fault.

Sounds like the frost has caught up with your battery.

The DSC fault may be a symptom of a failed battery.

However im sure someone who knows more of these things will be along shortly.

Maybe give the battery a full charge and see how it goes then?

Cheers, just got it started. Jumped it with another car. Is the Bosch Battery (S4 Battery 019 4 Year Guarantee) ok to buy? I've read that previously people gave bought the 017.
