I have a fault with the sunroof insomuch as it won't work! It has just stopped opening (in closed position thank gawd!).
It may be completely co-incidental but the rear RH window has also decided not to work any more!
I have checked the fuses (no. 20 & 17 I think) and these are sound.
Any suggestions, especially low/no cost ones?
I know the computer on the D3 can make it do strange things just to annoy but this is confusing me!

hold the open sunroof button for 20secounds, and it will reset.
Sounds like you got a faulty mecanism that puts stress on the sunroof motor. - My 2006 D3 HSE PP

My local indy suggested that but it didn't work - maybe I didn't hold it long enough. I assume I do this with the ignition on and doors shut?

Thanks to you guys I have managed to correct the fault
I tried everything you said but eventually cured it by holding the CLOSE button whilst turning the ignition on. Gawd knows why I ended up trying this but it worked. I also have no idea why this also cured the rear window not working but, heck, the car has a mind of it's own and obviously thought it would be funny to see my reaction - ha blinking ha car07MY TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey + Alpaca

My driver's window stopped working. Tried holding switch for 20 secs etc, nothing doing. Tried Wonky's tip, holding close button while switching ignition on. FIXED IT!
2 thoughts - 1. THanks to Wonky and the forum
2. These cars do have a mind of their own!d4 HSE
