The ignition is on
I got into the car, fired it up and got a red triangle plus the message 'the ignition is on'. I also had a door open and bot of these went away when I shut the door. I opened the door and had the usual 'door open' message.
What's going on and what does the message mean? No sign of it in the manual

You are kidding?
It means the ignition is on and you have a door open.
Nothing to worry about.

OK, just never seen it before in the same circumstances and the other day I had a brief 'restricted performance' message for about 5 seconds and then the triangle.
