Re: Can you customize the display? |
|
My Disco4 is a 2012, 14K miles HSE.
I don't know if anyone here has figured out how to customize or otherwise configure the display screen so that I don't have to touch the screen or punch the Audio button to get to the "audio" screen I prefer? In other words, I would like my favorite display screen to open automatically upon startup.
I would love to be able to do this, but I'm not sure it's possible.
Also, the computer seems a little sluggish upon startup, so that it take about 30 seconds for the rear camera display to pop up, usually AFTER I'm done with backing up! Is there an update that might speed things up?
Thanks in advance from a poor boy from Mississippi.

Discovery owners and their "first world problems"
I've never heard of anyone doing this, but that's not to say it can't be done. One of the tech boys here would probably know. You may just have to continue pressing a button. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

On my MY11 HSE, the infotainment screen displayed the last function that I had selected when the car was turned off as long as I had used the hard keys i.e. it would display audio, 4x4 info, home screen, satnav (albeit the disclaimer on startup). If I selected a function using the voice command function however it always seemed to start on the home screen. 2010 MX-5 2.0 Sport Tech PRHT
