The musical chairs starts again.....unless the rest of the manufacturers find some major improvements in the close-season,it'll be a 2-horse race again, regardless of driver lineups....
Alonso is now 33,so it's probably one of,if not the last, big team for him I would have thought ? "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak out and remove all doubt" ?.....what rubbish...

Notice it being called Honda team a few times on the BBC coverage from Japan this morning, not McLaren.

I suppose this is going to be at the expense of Jenson Button, who I believe has always got the maximum from the car he has been given, so what is the point of changing. Maclaren get a better engine, the car is now competative, Alonso now drives it to a win, so it was all Jensons fault them! How fickle are these teams

The only thing actually confirmed is vettel leaving at present, allonso and mcclaren is only a guess at present, but it would be easier with a lesser driver than Hamilton as a team mate Joined the BMWX5 45e group

I rarely watch it but it will be interesting next year, Vettel is great driver but he has proved he can't do anything with a car that doesn't cut it. Alonso,Shuey and even Hamilton have all driven dogs of cars into good positions.
Honda were top of the tree back when turbos were used before so it will be good to see what they can do. IID PRO

Agree regards Vettel. Riccardo has put him in the shade at every race. Funny how after 15 years he leaves after 1 season not being the blue eyed boy. Webber will be smiling.
No guarantee Ferrari will be competitive next year anyway.

The new regime at Ferrari seem happy to let Alonso go For the last few years he has relentlessly dragged that Ferrari into positions far higher than it deserved. I hope Ferrari don't pay too much for Vettle as Ricciardo has made him look a little second rate now.

Newey's dominance in the design of an F1 car has failed Vettel this year so Vettel has decided to take his ball somewhere else despite Ferrari not having produced a decent car for a few years now. Riccardo has missed out on Red Bull's recent success and would have probably taken a few of Vettels titles given his results this year and the way he has out driven Vettel. Honda coming back to F1 will be interesting as following them pulling out of F1 their chassis with a McClaren engine won the Driver and constructor championships "Never keep up with the Joneses. Drag'em down to your level. It's cheaper".
