How to become a forum moderator
I have just been thinking about the time and effort I put into the forum to help others and it made me think, how do you become a moderator? I was wondering when the voting is and what criteria is set for candidates, I guess like politicians current moderators start to behave when they know voting is on the horizon
I just think the power of being able to merge threads to annoy people, delete threads, write in red ink and generally do as you want would be great I'm looking for ideas to start preparing my application so any help would be appreciated, so if you were a moderator what would you do?
Anyone know when the next election for mods is?

I would vote for you, you have 1 attribute which seems lacking on here.
You don't take yourself too seriously 100% of the time.
Edited to please the elitist mob.

There are no elections Pete ...you get "made up" like in the Mafia... so you are taken to a remote house ...you open the door and there should be a welcoming party of made mods 8)
...in your case I suspect there would be an empty room with a central floor drain
