Flat spot when cold
Hi guy i seem to get a flat spot form cold ,it only happens once but you apply the throttle and it won't accelerate for just a moment …..

Could you give us some more information. Is this an auto? Are you accelerating from stationary? If Auto and you put it into manual mode and engage 1st gear, does that solve the issue?2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

Yep, you have just recognised the very first sign of a failing EGR valve; it beats the hell out of suddenly finding it when pulling out into fast-moving traffic!
