Turbo Delay/Lag ??

Hi all,

I had a test drive of an 07 Auto Disco 3 on Saturday and was a little surprised at the lag between pressing the accelerator and pickup.

2-3 seconds, which seemed a lifetime, is this normal Shocked ?

Thanks

There is a lag in the d3. Remapping goes someway to reduce this but it's still there

That was the biggest difference I noticed bewtween the D3 and 4 when I changed - reduction in lag

A 2 - 3 second delay isn't normal, mine certainly doesn't have that sort of delay. It's likely the EGR valves or VGT actuator need attention.

Thats definitely not right it needs looking at, but an even more serious thing you need to check on an 07MY is to make sure that the belts and oil pump casing have been done.

Belts hadn't been done and when I questioned them they said they would split the cost with me Laughing . I then said goodbye .
