Windscreen - shaded area around rear view mirror

Hi All,
My windscreen cracked today in a line extending north and south of the chip repair that Autoglass did back in January. Sad
They are booked in to fit a new screen next week and having read the advice here, I'll be back onto them tomorrow to make it clear that I want an OEM/Pilkingston screen and new A pillar trims/clips!
Can anyone here tell me whether new screens come with the black-dot shaded area around the rear-view mirror, or is that something else that needs to be specified?
Cheers!

Yep Pilkington. From vague & distant memory they would have replaced the A pillar external trim but I needed the old cover with the hole for mounting the RAI.

Mine was done back in Feb, took them a bit longer to source the screen from LR but I asked for new A pillar trim as well. Yes it has the shaded area.

Just make sure they do the wiper linkage up properly Mad

I also had a new screen from Autoglass and they install a heated Pilkington glass which had the shaded area around the rear view mirror. They also fitted new screen side covers without being asked.
