How do I tell if an expedition roof rack will go on my disco 3?

If it's a genuine LR one it's what it's made for. You do need the short roof rail kit though.

A few options.
Search the for sale section, think there's some in there at the minute.
Contact TLO aka The Large One. He's the parts manager at Yeovil LR.
Or eBay.
Depending on where you get then determines price.
