Just spent 6 hrs fitting a new intercooler.
1st question. Is there a special tool for taking out the `double plastic clips` from panel edges, the guy who took mine out previously must have used a squirrel!
(must contact TLO for new clips)
2 nd, why do LR insist on fitting bolts through and beyond the nut and therefore exposing excess thread to the ravages of weather/salt etc, the fixing is in the nut not after it. If they were shortened £`s could be saved at the manufacturing stage, not to mention further owners having them break and have to replace them with new... doh! cancel question 2.
I have also replaced one hose as yet, nice shiny blue job, but the nearside one disappears up into the darkness, will leave that until I have new supply of plastic clips. And the little short one may be a pretty little item on the desk until I get more bottle/
However engine has a new kind of punch on acceleration, liking that!!, will record MPG over next few weeks.
Q 3 Does everyone have 5 or 6 bolt/ screws left over?
Q4 Is it just mine or do they all come out in the middle of job and say eugh! don`t you ever clean in there?
Q5 Why does she think it`s good to put my surplus metal out for those men that come round. aAAAGH!!

1 yes a trim removal tool eBay or Amazon
2 because they have a job lot of long screws ( dip in copper grease when fitting new ones to avoid this in future)

Yep me too. Spent most of my time not doing the intercooler but cutting out ceased screws and bolts. Now trying to find out where I can get replacements. Did you get replacement fixings for the front bumper and where did you get them?
I am thinking of the 4 Torx head bolts that screw into the chassis, the 2 screws and associated threaded metal plate to secure the inner wheel arch to the bottom of the bumper and the screw with plastic receiver to secure inner wheel arch at each side of the bumper.
Do you know the part numbers?
Thx.
