True - but I just bought a set of 255/50/19 winter tyres off a D3 owner on eBay and some RRS owners fit 255/55/19 and 275/45/20 so not everyone sticks to the sizes in the book
The D3 owner neglected to tell me he had mixed a run flat with MO and std though so costly mistake for me as I could not fit them and had to buy another set then lost money selling his - hopefully not a member on here because he knew I was

Wouldn't want anyone buying this set only to find out they are the wrong size. I don't have a clue about Disco tyre/wheel sizes and MW (like he said) only tried to help me out by increasing the audience.

It's not just the tyre size that is unsuitable but the load index is also probably unsuitable for a D3:

Thanks for the info. Surprised to note Disco requires such a different load index. I always thought RRS and Disco were only slightly different in weight. Is it because you can load a lot more stuff in a Disco?
