Ask the seller for the original reg no then contact G4 Owners Club to check if it's a genuine G4 or copy. The side steps and wheels are not standard fitment. The likely reason the cracked lights not been replaced is that they cost a fortune (if you can find one). The G4 plaque is missing from between the spot lights, another very rare item.

I'm in the G4OC and have asked for the VIN as someone I know is interested.
The side steps are not standard fitment on any G4
The wheels are the original 19" D3 HSE wheels painted black (why??)
The 2008 G4 plaque is available from the club
The glass and reflector for the roof lights are easily replaced from Hella in Germany and cost £53.00 (if that's all that's cracked) I had to replace one of mine....
Anyone interested let me know and I will get you as much info as available. G4OC Secretary

Interesting as the 2008 event was cancelled due to the downturn in the Global economy. There were 66 D3's made for the event...all of which were D3's with the 2.7 lump. Some were prepared and used for the recce to Mongolia, some were used for a variety of promotional events around some European destinations.
But a load sat at JLR and were not used...these were released to the general market in late 2008. Some were stripped of their goodies and debadged with the dealer network thinking they were more saleable without all of the lairy stickers...
Some parts were robbed and sold off which is why some come up for sale without their goodies.
This one in particular is displaying the wrong stickers so I would imagine it has been denuded at some time and some copies have been reapplied.
JLR also deactivated some of the goodies to prevent themselves being subject of any lawsuit... A common one is the xenon floodlights are not road legal and are often disabled and the winches were invariably stripped of the winch cables....
Great cars though!
For further info the G4OC is a great place for further details.
