its not 50 mins of labour though
it cant take more than 5 mins to plug in and initiate the download. They can then go an do something else whilst downloading- ie change oil, brake pads, clean epb etc...... Duncan

nope, it's 50 mins of 'workshop time' - i.e. IDS can't be used on anything else and a vehicle bay is in use

So this does what exactly?
I can navigate my phone book on the head unit via the head unit or the steering wheel controls.
Wont give me missed calles, dialled call list etc but who cares.
Press and hold the call button on the steering wheel and it last number redials.

I think you'll already have all the functionality this update provides Si, is your VIN in the range above?
I use mine in a cradle but ISTR it did do missed/dialled calls etc over bluetooth, will turn it on later and check The End

So this is the re-release of the update that didn't work before...?
Local Dealer wants £90 for this update last time (so assume price will be the same this time).
TBH I will probably get this done as it's a pain in the backside not have the phonebook available.
Just hope it works this time Bodsys Brake Bible

strange - my MY06 already does this stuff ...
I wonder if it is because I had a new blutooth thingy fitted a few months ago (the old unit failed)?

Had this done today after the selling dealer failed to do it. He did pick up the bill though and works a treat.
Bonus I wasn't expecting was the name and numbers appearing in the centre of the instrument panel.

I got this done when my phone module was replaced recently didn't know that it was an 'upgrade' and it was not charged. First I knew was when my phone book appeared on the screen when looking for a number in the car memory!
