My new D4!
Hi all,
Decided to upgrade from a D3 to a D4! Just bought a 13MY XS spec with very low mileage and for a very good price! Indus silver with ebony leather interior, and has had many options spec'd at new such as the reversing camera...
Some pictures below...

The last picture also shows the outgoing D3!
Collecting it on Monday, so only 4 days to wait!
Mods planned are side steps, mud flaps, side mouldings and tinted windows. (All of which will be done within a week of collecting!)
The D3 has been nice, but hopefully the D4 will add a bit more comfort and luxury! Going from a manual to an auto is a bit of a change, but it seems much smoother and more responsive than the D3, both in the respect of the engine and gearbox.
It's joining the family of a Freelander 2 and a Defender, so I'm sure that it'll be the most luxurious out of all 3!

Thank for the comments guys! I'm not sure how I'll cope without the red either It is a lovely colour, but I couldn't find the spec I was looking for in red! Silver it is then!

Picked it up today, and wow! The 8 speed Auto is just so smooth! Engine very quiet, and it's just so comfortable! A big step up from the D3!
Haven't even got it home yet! Took it straight to the window tinters so I'll pick it up from there tomorrow morning. Then tomorrow afternoon and New Years Day we'll put the side steps, mud flaps and side mouldings on

How much does it cost to get the windows tinted and would they be the same as the Land Rover option?

It's cost me £240 for the tinting from a company in Sandbach. I've had it done the same as Land Rover spec (23% IIRC), so it looks very nice! I'll put some photos up tomorrow in the daylight
