Mine came out easier than I thought they would, only the outer arm to knuckle bolts needed to be cut out.

I can see how it would be easier with the body raised a small amount, but it's not difficult without, and it looks like a lot of work for not enough reward to me.

Did the passenger side last night and wasn't too bad. Rear bolt was seized so just got the angle grinder and slitting disks out and was off in no time.
