Hi Guys
This may have been done a thousand times but I cant find anything in the search...maybe just me being technophobic though!
The question is two fold...
I have been given permission  to buy a diagnostic tool and have the car remapped for xmas  however after reading so many threads on here I'm unsure as to which one is best in each case...
So therefore the floor is yours gents I'm pulling on your wealth of experience and asking firstly...whats the best regarding the diagnostics tools i.e.
1) functions
2) price
but more importantly
3) ease of use (Remember I'm slightly thick but willing to learn and have all the usual laptops tablets etc. that I use for work)

Secondly a remap...whats the best one out there for:
1) Price (and does it really reflect in the added performance...in other words more you spend more you get?)
and
2) performance
Maybe a loaded couple of questions but I want to get honest answers from the people that have used the diagnostic tools or have had the mapping done so over you you guys
