random fuel gauge problem
Hi, my fuel gauge has had a mid of its own a few days ago, would go to empty and then just randomly pop back to where it should do or slightly below, them works normally, when it goes to empty the range says 0 miles and the light comes on.
Is it going to be wiring or the sender?
Thanks.IID, webasto software and workshop facility's available.

Could be either but the best place to check is the rear RH wheel arch behind the plastic liner. There is a connector there that can be used to check the sensors and it is also a common area for damaged sensor wiring too.
I can get you sensor resistance tables if you need them and it is worth checking your fault codes too.
