Nice as it is, I think that inwould rather have one with 50k on it. At least you wouldn't mind using it from time to time.

Very nice car and one I would love to own but the ad is a bit misleading saying that the mileage is 584 then says in the descripton
Ebay ad wrote:done only 584 miles since total rebuild. Cheers Ian

I'd prefer one with a steering wheel though!
We used to service a hard top one very similar to this, the US import RHD converted ones are good due to very little corrosion.
I think that one had about 28,000 on when he sold it, for about £18k last year somewhen.
regards
Steve

I owned a red V12 e type in the early 1980's I paid £10,000 for it from a dealer on the A12 in Romford.
I can remember one night hitting 140 mph on the M11 (according to the clock), it was a great car each 'V' had it's own SU carb. However I can rember having the rear discs and pads changed which cost me a fortune as they were 'in board' whch ment they had to drop the back axle to get at them.
Would have been a great investment had I kept it Club Narpy Torch

Is the ad a joke? No steering wheel, no web site, no email and they are not a specialist classic vehicle garage or renovators. All their other cars are between 2 and 8k and they want £85k for a car with no steering wheel. I'm impressed so far!

Series 1-1.5 coupes in very good condition mechanically with no rust can still be obtained from the US for £35-40K in an unrestored state. You can also get ones that are complete rubbish for more money both here and there. Not sure about this car...
Generally, I think they're one of the beautiful cars from the era. The brakes are a bind though, given where they're positioned as has been noted. The brakes are also prone to overheating, again due to where they sit and the lack of good airflow over the discs. PAGODA

The inside look a bit rough for a not expense rebuild! I would run a mile. Club Narpy Torch
