Where does this plug into the cubby, I was told by local dealer it plugs into the glove box and mines not set up for it so would cost me £600... Crying or Very sad D3 HSE 55 Reg

There's no cable common to D3 and D4, and there are a few versions of each. 06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

There are two sockets in the central cubby box lid on my 2011 D4 one USB and one for this lead.
On my 2013 car there are now. Two USB sockets so I no longer need the lead.
It charges and allows full access to the iPhone from the cars audio centre.

This is Bruce's lead it only fits D4's previous to MY2012, I think the part number is LR031492 Cheers Ian
