DM thanks for that, haven’t removed the locking pins and hand cranked the engine yet but that is my next step.
I’ll grab another photo to see where it is sitting once I’ve hand cranked it a few times 👍

Right removed the locking pins and hand turned over the engine 4 revolutions and it now looks like this.
Timing pins in the cams and crank all go back in ok so timing seems to be ok but the key question is the tensioner position ok now, it has moved a bit.

Not really sure on this one, but should you not have a certain amount of flex in the belt.

Hadn’t updated this thread, had a couple of attempts to sort the tension and was getting more and more frustrated by it so just left it.
Have got the tension ok now although just need to double check the timing is all ok before I do any reassemble a combination of crap weather and feeling rough after my first COVID jab meant I haven’t done anything with it for a few days.

No, the tensioner is pretty tight and being spring loaded will move a little under operating conditions.
