Suspension warning light

Urgent help needed! Just when i need to use my disco 3 the suspension warning light (red one with two arrows on the roof) has appeared. The compressor appears to be working fine, it seems the near side front is slightly lower constantly. If i lean in and distort the rubber link from the sensor to the upper arm the suspension will raise briefly but then drops back down. I’m going on a long journey with the car fully loaded. Hoping its going to be ok, as the compressor cuts in and out as normal and this fault has only just appeared since loading the vehicle with luggage. My only fear is if the vehicle goes into some sort of limp home mode. Just about to go and try it on a small journey, to see how it performs. I did have someone put it on diagnostics which showed it was lower on the left, with a fault - suspension ECU. It could not be cleared. Any input would be gratefully received!
