Sorry - I should have replied sooner on this. Thanks to Steve for getting the IID to me ultra-quick after a failed delivery. I've now got the EGR patch from BAS on there. No more EML for me...

I found none of the Android devices I had lying around were compatible with the IID so I had to borrow my wife's phone to use it. Not very convenient. Then I discovered my Nexus 7 does in fact have BT4, they just don't enable it in the OS. Many <cough>happy</cough> hours later, I found an Android build that addresses this issue so I now have it working on my Nexus 7. Happy days! 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

The device was running Lollipop (5.x) when I tried. The (original) Google Nexus 7 doesn't have BT4 support despite having the necessary hardware. You can OTA update it, but the BT drivers just aren't there.

There are other Android flavours for the device which do have the necessary drivers to enable it. I am now running CyanogenMod

Getting it all installed and working (ie flashing the Nexus 7) was a complete ****** *****mare though Smile 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate
