They have them across much of Europe, never heard of loads of petrol station fires over there. Confused

It's exceptionally rare in the States, especially with the fume recovery system, but here in the UK it just does not get dry/hot enough to be an issue.

If the woman had got out of the car the second time and touched the door or bodywork then the accident in the video would not have happened. Somehow she managed to rub her clothing against nylon seats and get out of the car without touching anything.

In almost 25 years of doing it (since D1 days) only been shouted at once over the tannoy by an irate wifey in Newport. And she forgot to turn the pump off. Whistle

Oddly, when I looked at my D3 prior to purchase the then current owner took it to a petrol station in Oxfordshire and the LPG only needed to be pressed once and left to fill by its self!

Just go to the pumps on the HGV side of the fuel station!

If you use the HGV line the station usually wants your card first so that's two visits to the desk.

Are there many Pay at Pump lorry pumps?

Been running LPG motors for a good few years and never came across one like that.
