[For Sale] D4 Piano Black Heated Steering Wheel
Having tried and failed to get this working in my D3 I'm going to admit defeat and look for a different heated wheel for the conversion.
It's a late D4 wheel with the later ECU so please ensure compatability with your Disco before purchasing. I'll help where I can.
When I bought the steering wheel it did not have the flappy paddles fitted so I bought some to fill the blanks but they are not connected. I have some wiring that came with them but cannot guarantee the paddles will work.
This a rare piano black wheel in good condition. Some marks on the upper piano black trim if I'm being picky but the perforated leather and leather around the sides and bottom is perfect as is the white stitching around the edges.
Airbag is not included.
£275 + £15 is posted or collection welcome from SW London (TW12)

I have the reverse problem with a retro fit earlier model heated wheel onto my 2016 D4 so if you fancy an exchange mine is a D4 heated wheel in black leather with all the cruise, phone and gearbox paddles fitted and working. If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem!

So you want to send me some pics? Mainly of the steering ECU as that seems to be where my problem is!

I am interested. Is it easy to fit? I have a 62 plate Disco 4 HSE. Should it fit on easily?

Just queries, why didn't the first steering wheel fit your D3? Though the print boards needed a conversion anyway?

It worked with the conversion but the heating and cruise would not turn on due to the later ECU.
I now have 2 heated wheels and need to swap the older ECU in to the new wheel. Lucky I have some time on my hands!

Sorry, but what ecu? Thought the steering wheel was just buttons and all the rest in the car.
