Picture Message

Hello gang
I have a question about the meaning of a picture of an axle and wheels that flashed up momentarily on the display whilst descending a snowy road in the Alps at the weekend? It is a MY11 GS and was in snow mode, but I didn't think the GS would give any indication about the 4WD system. Looked through the handbook several times, but no clues?

Was it on the dashboard display or the central sat-nav one? Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

If you mean the display next to the speedo it will come on to show what direction your front wheel are pointing, it shows when you have selected one of the off road modes Thumbs Up Cheers Ian
