Park brake
Hi all. I was wondering if anybody has used the kits you can buy off eBay etc to repair the park brake actuator? Like this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254377980723
I ask as mine will not release so using the nicely fitted pull method.

You don't always require those parts.
I think a youtuber purchased them, but then found they weren't needed.
I would have thought if you can get the cover off the EPB, you can maybe able to tell the gears are broke?

Thanks Pete I’m hoping I can fetch cover off in situ and see. Failing that I can send away to repair. For a lot less than price of new module

Recently fixed mine as it jammed on and would not free using the emergency cable.
All done in situ on the drive on axle stands. Used a screwdriver to free it and all working well at the moment.
It is do-able.
