P0003 Fuel Volume Control Valve Circuit Low |
|
Hi
I have been using Robbie's guide to the LP fuel system to help diagnose my issue, along with fantastic help from PROFSR G. The LPFP did need replacing so this has been done and it ooks like we have narrowed it down to the fuel volume control valve in the HPFP. I have yet to check the connection and voltages to it but was wondering what experiences members have had with this. Has anyone successfully replaced just the valve or just decided to replace the whole pump? Mine is an 07 so due to the age of it any reasonable fix suggestions would be welcome. PROFSR G recommends replacing the whole pump due to the time it takes which may be the way to go so any recommendations on suppliers would be gratefully received.
Once again much kudos to PROFSR G
Cheers
Andy

Quick update - because of the weather not done any more diags but will today. I tried the car yesterday and started with no issues, idled fine but then then the engine did what i would call a little "burp", and then carried on as normal. When it did this it popped up a p0004 - Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit High. Back on to check wiring and connectors today
