Noisy wiper blades try a potato

My wiper blades have been getting realy noisy recently probably due to the wash and wax i use i was talking to a customer who said try wiping the screen with a potato cut in half, so i did and it worked no more noisy squeaky wipers (i was skeptical to be fair) but now i have a clean windscreen and no more noisy wipers

Did you use a King Eddie, Albert Bartlett, or a Jersey Royal !?

Would take ages with a Jersey Royal Whistle

Glad it cured your squeaking as they are so annoying when they do that.

P.S. Are they any good for w/screen chips ! Laughing

It's many years since I have heard this suggested.

An alternative is dampened newspaper, other than the FT, of course.

You then have newspaper & potatoes - just add chips. Rolling with laughter
