New Suspension Compressor
I need a new compressor ..
I'll whip the cover off to have look, but I assume it is the original Hitachi compressor fitted
I don't really want to replace with an AMK kit as I don't have an IID tool to update it (yet)
Replacements seem to vary a lot in price ...
Hitachi "style" presume a pattern part from China from ebay (£120-£150)
Hitachi badged Dunlop (seen some bad reports of those) (£200)
Hitachi oem (£400 - £650) with or without a kit of pipes / brackets etc

I don't use them for parts any more but try ECP i had cause to replace our pump recently, when I bought the car it needed a new pump they had 1 in stock so I bought and fitted it and paid an extra 30 for a life time warrenty.
Just had to replace the pump again under said warrenty, they no longer sell the lifetime warrenty but all the time we own the car and I keep the receipt I get free pumps everything it goes wrong.

ECP strike again
Had to replace my suspension pump again, new development on the life time warrenty I originally purchased..... they no longer sell or do that brand of pump but say they get them from a different supplier so.........they won't honour the life time warrenty any longer they did however replace the pump after much arguing and only gave me a standard 2 year warrenty.
Decided to swop out the air tank while I was under there this ones had it.

I've dome three compressor rebuilds on various Land Rovers/Range Rover.
Last week was a complete compressor failure on the Disco so I bit the bullet and got the AMK upgrade and fixed the fault!
I genuinely think that's the way to go2008 D3 HSE Stornoway Grey (UK)
2008 D3 HSE Izmir Blue- South African Spec. (Zimbabwe)
2005 FFRR SC V8- Java Black
1995 D1 300 Tdi Blue - (Sourced from the UK, shipped to Namibia, driven by me to RD Congo, then Zambia, now retired in Zimbabwe)
