New to me D4

Well, I think I'm at least the 3rd forum owner of this beast, and it's my first Land Rover. Thanks to Jay07 and TheNail for looking after her so well previously. It really helped put my mind at ease to hear first hand from multiple owners.

I'm coming to this after 20 years of VW's, with a brief foray into Mercedes as well. Last vehicle was a 2016 Transporter, which was great, but ultimately a silly amount of money to have sitting on the driveway (for me). This 2012 D4 HSE is probably the most comfortable car I've ever driven, which was the main selling point, I think. I have a back problem and was crippled after 30 mins in the Transporter. Did 3 hours in this the other day and was fine at the other end.

Looking forward to learning a lot more about the great capabilities of this car (truck?), and making her my own....

Good point and will do so today.

Sorry, spent 12 years in the US, so I'm never sure when it comes to the car/truck naming convention. I'll make a note of that. Very Happy

Welcome Thumbs Up

Very 8) colour!

I'd also recommend getting a 'Uncle Ray' spare wheel security plate (do a search as many have had the spare wheel stolen and winch damaged), and also if you have keyless entry, consider switching this off (Again a search should help with instructions) or keep your key in a Faraday pouch Thumbs Up
