KeyLess Entry Antenna Locations

Hi All,

I have been getting an intermittent problem with the upper tailgate not recognising the key for keyless entry. I have swapped the battery for a new one and it still acts up. I know the one in the bumper structure, as I solved a camera problem by replacing the parking sensor loom and one takes a feed off that. I know there are two in the rear luggage compartment, one in the roof somewhere and one in the front somewhere. If anyone has pictures or can describe better than just the pictures in the maintenance manual, that would be great. I use keyless entry as we get the dogs in and out of the truck a lot. I do keep the key in an RFID box and use a steering lock to try and deter the scrotes and understand the risks of keyless entry, but it is very useful.

Or am I barking up the wrong tree and it might be the module? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

p.s. I have already installed the after-market manual tailgate release, just in case it is the servo which is on it's way out.

Hi,

Thanks for the picture, that’s the same as the manual. Just wondered if anyone had any actual pictures, so I know which bits of trim to take out, as a few in the back need other bits taking out to get them out with breaking them. Very Happy
