As said, I can only read your codes for you, but it also shows what a full fat diagnostic can do if you want to spend the money....

Sorry just seen your reply ...didn’t get a notification, turned them on now.

Thanks for the kind offer.... I’m just in the process of adding heated seats so I may need to ask you if there is anything that needs switching on in the IID to make them work..... I will be in touch if so.

All the electrics work so I’m hoping once I add the new console it will be plug and play....

I’ll be in touch if I run into a prob.... I appreciate you won’t be able to actually do it as it’s paired to yours but it would be good to see if there are options within the menus that I need turning on.....

Hi, I would be interested in purchasing an IID tool. Could anyone supply or advise where I could purchase one? I know its probably a mine field but would come in very useful.

Any help greatly appreciated.

They come up for sale, from forum members, quite frequently in the sales section on here (that's where I got mine). Normally in the £300+ price range which is a significant reduction on buying new. Keep checking that section out or post in the wanted section .

Thank you Gary I ran out of patience!

Took the plunge.... new one ordered.......arrives today.

First things to work out are:

Turn heated seats on (hopefully just needs coding as I’ve changed the facia and fitted HSE seats)

Turn reverse camera on (Apple car play unit came with a reverse cam)

Turn timed climate on ( again.... no idea if this can be done without the remote I just want to see if I can set it up in the car first)

Anyone think of anything else worth doing??
