HSE seat back problems -- where to take it to?

Hi Guys, I have posted a seat back problem at http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/post906164.html#906164
Does anyone have a good reference (stealer, independent, panel beater, etc) in the Centurion or wider Gauteng area for where I can take it to, or any other advice? Thanks!

I had the same problem (skewed) on my Dico3 2009 HSE
At first the dealer did not “believe” me Smile
Apparently the is a known problem....
At the end of the day, they replaced the seat rails (under warranty)

Thanks for the info -- the procedure seems quite simple. However, I interpret that this will adjust the seat track position, and thus both the seat cushion and the seat back will be adjusted. I may just not be aware of it, but on my seat it feels as if only the seat back is skewed while the seat cushion seems fine. What exactly were the symptoms on yours?

Sorry for the late reply, was out of town
I also felt that the seat back were to the left. I could not convince the dealer that something is wrong Sad

Eventually, when I experienced a slight movement in the whole seat (at pull off), my seat reals were replaced.
After the replacement, it was fine.
Not sure if the fix were the new seat reals, or because of the seat were refitted/realigned.

Ps. The reals were replaced at 15000km and again at 55000km due to this movement…………

Thanks. I will try the re-fit as the first port of call and then attempt the dealer again if the problem is not solved.
