Helppp with reassurance

Hey LR3 owners I'm looking at 2 possible vehicles to purchase and I'm hearing such negative things from people I know , mostly people who have never owned a Rover , but I really dig the LR3 and have found two amazing deals !! I need the 3rd row seating and I'm definitely going with a European car!! Please give me some positive feedback so I feel like I'm making a good decision:) I love this SUV !! Tell me all the good things Wink thanks in advance

Depends what you will be using it for. If it is a daily driver, no issues, permagrin all the way! Carrying people, cargo etc no issues, towing - couldn't find a better vehicle. Look at getting an IID tool from Gap Diagnostics, they're based in Canada too.
Check the age of the battery - a poor battery can be the source of faults, check the service history and mileage to make sure that the correct service was done for its' mileage, if it is auto (which it will be) check to see has it had a flush carried out, again mileage dependant.
Had three of these - one was used on civils projects building roads, get abused everyday and yes it did break down but when it worked it worked brilliantly.
Had two more since both D4 or LR4's and can't fault either one of them. As I said at the top of the post - permagrin all the way.
The forum is also a great place for information, searching through posts, you will find a solution to a problem.
Happy hunting. Thumbs Up

PS if you can give more information about the LR3/4 age, spec and mileage you will get more detailed information!
