HELP - Suspension went pop!
I was running some diagnostics on my FBH and whilst the burner was running I heard a loud bang which basically made me myself!! It sounded like air escaping rapidly as though I'd popped a space hopper or something. Initially I thought it was something to do with the FBH so I shut it down and disconnected the laptop.
Anyway, when I started the car the suspension wouldn't raise back to normal height mode (it was in access mode when parked). A message of 'Suspension raising slowly' came up but the car never raised itself properly and I could hear some new sounds whilst the compressor was running that weren't normal.
As things stand now, the front of the car won't budge but the rear lifts fine. Perhaps the heat from the FBH caused something to pop or perhaps it was just coincidence but my gut feeling is though an air line or something has popped off or something has burst.
Initially I thought that one of the air bags might have popped but as both front wheels wont raise then I suspect it's not the bags but another part of the system like the valve block. Any ideas as to where to start/simple checks?

So this was spot on Martin, thanks. My FBH exhaust has perished and the heat must have softened the green air line until it popped.
Going to order the connectors to repair it now... thanks!

Final update - All repaired and working fine.
Ordered some 6mm push fit connectors as suggested in the thread shared by Martin (only £7). Cut out the melted line, fitted a connector and sorted.
Initially there were some warnings after the repair as the levels of the suspension were all over the place and I guess the whole system needed to be recharged with pressure. A couple of on/off's running the engine, letting the compressor charge and raising/lowering the suspension along with a little test drive and all is now well again.
A garage might have taken a while to diagnose that - what a great resource this website is
