Having just purchased the lead off the site and installed the software.
I have now run it up and when I interrogate the software it only looks on an rs232 serial port yet I have usb any help on how to sort it would be grateful.

Suggest you maybe change your title to include Webasto FBH or similar so it's easier to spot. IIRC the lead simulates an RS232 port so one of them will map to your USB.
