Where is the clip that holds the pipe from the reservoir to the clutch master cylinder. All i can see is a black pipe and no clip that connects to the mastercylinder. Help
Its not just push fit is it ??

Can anyone help I'm stuck with a car on the drive, i just need to know how to detatch the black feed pipe from the clutch/brake reservoir to master cylinder (at the pedal end) i cant see how it comes off.
The fluid reservoir is just held with two clips and it pulls off. The vacuum pipe is just a push fit?Mark.

The clutch fluid reservoir is part of the brake fluid resevoir, a black pipe goes from this to the clutch master cylinder. I have removed the clip and pipe that goes from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder. But i cant see how to remove the feed pipe from the resovoir where it connects to the master cylinder. Haynes manual says remove clip then remove pipe, but i cant see a clip.
Ah, sorry misread the first post and the important word "clutch". I've not got a Spanish box, so can't help anymore. Mark.

Sorry to keep on, but does anyone know if the low pressure supply pipe to the clutch master cylinder is just a push fit or not.

Hi everybody.
I'm just in it right now. The top line seems to be just a press fit.
As per this. You really need to remove the front clip. It looks a bit like a window crank handle retainer, but with more zig zag.
A bit like teh bottom middle ones on this pic.
and remove the conector plug too. Before pulling the top line. It takes a fair bit of force. Use à big rag around the clutch master, and be sure to have a container of some kind, like a small pop bottle or somehing alike. Put rags on your floor. I spread brake fluid all over.
Now, i need to find a replacement and manage to bleed it.
Anybody knows if it has a spring inside? Th epedal wasn't comming back up. I'm under the iumpression that it stinks, and the slave cylinder is shot, or clutch springs?
Thanks.

Land rover engineers are completely bonkers, barking mad. They've lost the plot completely with that pedal. It's nearly impossible to put the second screw to attach the clutch master cylinder.
I've tried so far, long nose pliers, cardbord strip with the screw tucked in. With either the wrench trying to turn it, or screwdriver trying to push it etc.

This did the trick. Missthreaded. I forced it, and it'll stay like that. What a piece of sh!
Pushing the pedal all the way to the floor. Holding it with the carpet. Using the long screwdriver to leverage between the screw head and the pedal's shaft.
Hope this helps the next guys doing it.

The pedal's shaft for the master cylinder was already broken in half, which i didn't see. Had to remove it to reweld.
A friend found a trick, the pedal support can be semi unbolted. I already had found that the bolt going through the pedals can be pulled to the fender's side. (LHD vehicle) And therefor there is no need to dismantle everything. I would advise anybody doing the clutch master cylinder to do that. That's way easier than my cardboard and wrench trick.
