Does anyone else find the heater slow to warm up their vehicle? Mine seems to take a number of minutes to get warm and then the quantity of air coming through the vents seems fairly anaemic. Perhaps I'm just used to Japanese air con systems on previous 4wd's. TDV6 HSE Zambezi/Tundra

I've noticed that it takes awhile for the engine to reach optimum operating temp which seems to affect the temp inside the car too.
I just turn up the fan speed and set it to 22deg C then it becomes too hot and I turn the temp down and fan speed down.
The Jap cars I've had are better than this but I enjoy everthing else so it's only a minor thing for me.

Guys, this is the subject that received possibly the most coverage on the site. The Webasto Pre-heater (inside bonnet front right with its own ittle exhaust) is installed to preheat the cab, whilst the car engine gets warmed up. Few work, that is one of our biggest moans due to the software. They install it but it does not work.

BN, I thought there was nothing wrong with the diesel pre-heater... just that the unadvertised "timer" feature is "unsupported" or broken.

The heater itself is fine, but on many cars it is not connected or for some reason does not work and LR still have not given a correct reply to any of us. It certainly cannot be pre-timed without the 'fiddle' which of course is no good. I think it should work when the temp is below about 4C. Possibly Ecosse has got nearer to the answer than anyone.

The pre-heater situation is getting warmer. I may have a result within the next couple of weeks.
