That's music to my Disco (ears!). I saw the thinking behind the end hook, but not 100% certain how it is intended to be used. Will you do the security screws too?
pwheeldon - yes these are to stop the headlights being stolen.

I think I am probably OK on a 05 D3 then! I assume that Hardware is getting a discounted set for coming up with the idea of using them to remove the headlights as well, plus hes from Gods country too like the supplier!!Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

Fiitted my Light Lok brackets. Wasn't entirely sure which part of the light securing mechanism I was trying to protect, having never removed the headlights or looked up how to, but it's fairly obvious and Ryan confirmed it stops the removal tabs being lifted. Fitting advice from Green Land Rover was useful, specifically washer positioning and avoiding loss of o ring. These certainly are sturdy.
Couldn't undo the screws with a Torx bit in my screwdriver so ended up buying a 1/4 " drive socket and bits to do the job. Didn't mind too much as had been considering buying one for a while. Hoping these are enough to deter any but the most determined. Still on the look out for security screws for an additional level of security.
I plan to try to get a sticker printed for the windscreen stating that lights are secured in the hope that it is noticed and ensures they don't try. Anyone know a good place to get one done or would it be possible to have some printed for the forum that could be purchased? People may want them even if they haven't got the brackets. What do you think?
CheersGary

Feeling for you.
They had a go at mine earlier in the year. Luckily I heard them and chased them off. Not before they ruined my bonnet, trying to prise it open, and scratched my paintwork unfortunately.
I hope you can get it sorted quickly . Good luck
CheersGary

ASPguru, yes mate they took the grille, all they left was a few broken clips and some scratches on the bumper.
