Used mine all the time till on a trip the car started vibrating like crazy out of nowhere on the highway. Pulled off and the heat coming off the rear driver's wheel was noticeably more than others. Nearly left us stranded hours from home. Managed to get it to release by some amount of fiddling with the lever and the cable release. I used it a few times after that, and each time it would cause the highway vibration later. Tried adjusting it when I did the brakes to no avail. Took it to the mechanic and said I needed a full new EPB module ($$$). Needless to say, I haven't used it since and it has been trouble free!

wouldnt tell your insurance you dont use it..
