It's really starting to Censored me off.

The software glitch is getting worse. Now it won't take a charge. Every time I plug the cable in, the dashboard comes up with the message "Initialising Charge" but doesn't go any further. Tried different chargers, but nothing works.

So a call to JLR assistance and a technician will be coming out to look at the problem today. Crying or Very sad

Is your timed or preferred charging period set in the car?
This will stop it charging.

Anyone else remember the hotspot on , iirc, the M1 for volvos dying that turned out to be related to radio broadcasts from a military relay station?

There was a few cars that failed when passing a RAF radar station on the Norfolk coast a few years ago. After the usual denials it turned out to be the station was broadcasting a a much higher level than they were meant to be.

In the RFA when a warship came alongside underway at sea for fuel or stores they were told to “sector” their high power radars as it could blow our satellite TV system. In the end we would turn the TV system off as we had so many failures. Not good when out in the Far East or south Atlantic!

You have my sympathy with your problems, it doesn’t bode well for the announcement I have just heard on Radio 4 that JLR will be all electric by 2025.
