D4 holding Value
I went to The Edenbridge and Oxted show today and swung via the LR stand.
There was a D4 Graphite 2016.5 with 52k on the clock for £33k
I ask the chap there about my Landmark 2016 - 42k on the clock. He said they would bite my arm off and would likely be able to sell it in under 24hrs.
Has anyone else noted the prices holding well? What’s causing them to hold value so well?
I’m thinking of trading in next year for the 130 (depending on how it turns out)
However, still love my D4, cannot find anything the same size that compares in terms of capacity for muddy dogs, children, bikes and wife.2016 D4 Landmark

Plus everyone that needed to get around went out and bought a car, so high demand on top of lack of supply. And they are ALL on the M25 when I am.

Because there hasn’t been a direct replacement for it.

Looking at the amount of cars for sale on auto trader and ebay, I fail to see where the shortage is.

I had my 2015 plate Hse on Autotrader for 6 weeks at £24k and not a single enquiry…I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

I have a few set searches on AT (poss replacements for our old Jazz and same as we’ve got) and the number of returns has steadily declined to the point of one returning none where there were several a couple of months ago. Plus prices are stupid but they are still selling.

I got £28,000 for my 65 plate HSE Lux from WBAC in an easy 20 min appointment a few weeks ago. It is now for sale on Autotrader for £32475. Trouble was as someone else mentioned to get another car is costing more. I was looking at RRS or FFRR and even putting a few thousand onto the WBAC money I could only stand still in terms of year and mileage for another Land Rover. I ended up a Volvo XC60 which does everything I need it to do and as it`s a petrol hybrid I`m doing my bit to save the planet! Although only a couple of years newer than the D4 the tech is light years ahead in terms of functionality! I`m loving it!

Lots of info on several recent streams on this forum....
Market for second hand is red hotter than ever...
Just had an updated WBAC value on my D4 and even with the increased mileage the value is rising...
Just means all the others are rising too, our Audi is up massively as well...
Who'd have thought it?...Jim

In light of this thread I just went onto Autotrader to see what D4s in the same year/spec of mine are selling for.
Bought my D4 just over two years ago (May 19) and paid just under £20k.
Equivalent year/spec D4s are selling just now on Autotrader between £24k - £25k.
But of no real interest to me as I don’t plan on selling.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

There are currently 4 D4 Landmarks for sale on Autotrader all the wrong side of £40,000 with the dearest on offer for £43.995! Much as I love the D4 there is no way I would ever pay that sort of money (if I had it!) for one!
