| D4 Commercial - Lease prices?? |

My company car is due for renewal at the end of October so I had been holding off ordering etc as I thought (hoped) that the D4 Commercial would switch to the 3.0 engine...
For once, my dreams have come true....BUT....
I can get a price for the 'new' D4 Commercial and various dealers are happy to take an order (yeah, course they are...)
The problem is that the leasing companies don't have any information as the prices etc are supposed to be released in mid-July (so one has to ask what information the dealers are using) and there is no information available at all about factory discount levels and, more importantly, the CAP valuation for the end of life values in three years time.
So, longshot is no lease costs available!
Trouble is, I need to have a conversation with my FD over the next car - I have a like for like renewal quote for my current Audi A6 but the Audi dealer is saying that an order NOW may get me a manual by the end of the year and that an auto version would be Feb 2011. If I wait on LR to deign to tell me how much a D4 will be, then my alternative option drifts someway into the mid-future...
If anyone can provide lease costs (c'mon site sponsors...) for a D4 Commercial, please let me know!

Given the name that you said to mention to Wayside, there's a chap with the very same name who lives round the corner from me who runs a black D3 and a white 110...
He also goes to MK4x4...
He lurks (!) on Mud Club...
Also frequently spotted in Loughran's in Towcester...

I'm looking for the same information as well, looking at a pretty much fully loaded Disco 4 Commercial but it's really hard to get general release info at the moment, had a couple of quotes from dealers but hard to even get info on what is included in the packs and as standard!

This is just ridiculous...
I really, really want to get a D4 Commercial...
I have run LR vehicles (of one description or another) for at least 15 years - given that my wife even went to the church for our wedding in a RR, you might reasonably assume that I am a fairly strong proponent for all things LR...
Only trouble is, no one appears to want to sell one...
What bloody recession? LR dealers obviously aren't feeling the pinch...
Apparently LR themselves aren't allowing dealers to release prices (or specification) until 18th July with the result that no-one can give a CAP price for depreciated value in 3 years time and therefore no lease prices...
I do actually have one lease cost, but as soon as I queried the price, it dropped which leads me to think that there was an element of make believe in the calculations...
C'mon LR... this just isn't good enough...

Speak to your local dealer, spec is out now. My 2.7ltr order has been upheld, with the 3ltr auto. Different badge, DPF, 19" wheels, updated terrain responce an a couple of other minor mods. I added the power upgrade too.

I got a commercial mailing sent to me by one of the garages that I visited that didn't even give me a quote they promised. I find it amazing how some garages treat customers trying to buy their products. Wonder if LR realise how bad it looks on them as well. One dealer nearly put me off a purchase all together by given wrong info. Guy salmon Sheffield did the business for me in the end though!!
