Crank case service - a quick question

Hi all I’m new to the 2.7 v6 I am used to the l322 3ltr Td 6 and the running of Land Rover my question is a while ago I did a service on the crank case breather and change the filters
On the v6 engine do they have the same system

Not sure what the question is. Are you looking to change oil and filter?

No its a different breather system, only needs replacing if you have high oil consumption Andrew

D4 3.0 SDV6 Commercial died and gone to LR heaven
D5 3.0 SDV6 HSE

Hello and sorry just re read my post thank you for the replies what I was trying to say was
The bmw td inline 6 has your normal filters like we know it also has two breather filters at the back of the engine which I do believe are call crank case breathers
And are easy to change but most people don’t no they are there
My question was does the 2.7 v6 have the same system and is there a service for them

No they dont. Just an oil separator on these engines nothing that needs servicing Andrew
