Netherlands 2005 Discovery 3 4.4 V8 HSE Auto Zermatt SilverDiscovery 3

I read a test of an Android 2.2 tablet in an expert magazine a week ago.
General opinion was that this version of Android is *not* fit for a tablet, screen is too big therefore the processor cannot keep up. Irritating slow and the interface is wrong. Can't imagine 2.1 being better.

Thought I'd share this before people go and spend 130 quid uninformed. In this case: try before you buy/cry.

regards,

Wiljo

England 2011 Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 XS Auto Rimini RedDiscovery 4

Had a flyer from BT offering the same thing at the same price (more or less) but following it up on the WWW and it got a pretty poor write up - shame as I fancy a "tablet" style PC for carrying around in the caravan.

So do I but I'm waiting to see the iPad 2, about that time the choice in pc style tablets (android and windows) will be better too.

Gingerbread is the way foreward. A £130 tablet is not a great idea. Motorola have shown the way forward for Android at CES. THAT will be getting my dollar Thumbs Up

Agreed that I doubt a £130 tablet will be very good... this one though http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/advent-vega-i...6-pdt.html apparently is a lot better, esp if you download a performance pack from the Modaco site.
