Bubbling rubber window trim

Help!

I have noticed that the rubber trim at the base of the rear offside electric window appears to have bubbles or raised protrusions. It only seems to be on this particular window.

Anyone else seen the same or have any idea what it maybe?

I will take some photos tomorrow and attempt to post.

I have bubbling on the outside trim (I think it's plastic coated metal though, not rubber). Looks like it's starting to rust underneath. Only on rear offside too - just like yours.

Haven't got round to sorting it out with the dealer yet but it's got to be a warranty item.

Sorry, mine is on the outside as well, but it is only the section at the base of the electric window not the quarter light.

Oh well off to the dealer again....they are already looking at some bubbling paint on the top of the tailgate (bottom section)

Even my first LR, a P38 RR bubbled under the trim. So did my FFRR at 3years and now you tell me LR still haven't managed to solve the issue on the D3 which has been around for years. Hmmmmm.

would you expect the rear windscreen wiper to be bubbling also (56 plate)? just noticed that ours is whilst cleaning it - expected or not?

Or D1 did the OP thing also, nothing on D3 - yet
