I finally found someone who could fit the King Springs for me - and for half the price of the others who failed
Here's a few pictures:
Before:
After:
These King Springs are a little stiffer and that means improved handling on road, the lift it at the upper end of what King Sprung say - so very pleased.
Can't wait to try these off road - anyone got any plans Jan 12/13th or 19/20th in the South/mid Wales region or around Gloustershire/Cotswolds?LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Springs info
Hi Disconutter,
I will become a disco3 owner pretty soon. I like your disco modification, can you please let me know which is the part number / model of sprigs that you fit on your disco?
Thank you in advance for your reply

How does it compare clearance wise with air suspension at off road height ?
Also how far will the wheels drop into potholes ?
Looks good

Looks 8) Matthias.Doesn't look from the pic to be any/much difference Simon.Interested about the exact measure though.
I haven't driven a coiler , how does the ride compare ?

Front springs are KRFR-13 and rears KRRR-14. I got them from Kings Springs direct, but I seem to remember something about a European dealership opening up - might be worth e-mailing king Springs for details. Don't forget, you are likely to be charged Tax and Import duty on top of the price King Springs in Australia quote you.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Donkey here knew someone was going to ask that question but forgot to take measurements before the uplift.
Tell me what points to measure to from the ground up i.e. inner edge of wheel arch taken straight up past wheel centre, top of rear/front bumper in middle - that sort of thing do? I'll do it tomorrow weather permitting.
Ride wise, I test drove a SE when they first came out and found them soft and wollowing, but then drove another SE a few weeks later at another dealers which was alot better, but still they were softer that the coiler is. I'd say with originals springs it was comparable with the old Disco 300TDi we had. The new springs are a little stiffer.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

With a little lucj I'll be trying the Elephant Footprints at Boughrood this saturday - tell you afterwards whether I get stuck this time (Didn't before Chritmas) LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Nice one Matty - so no more driving on the verge avoiding the puddles next time then
And hopefully no more winging from SWMBO about her car being scraped along the frozen ground
Will we see you on Saturday Simon?LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

That was the plan but I now have to stay at home
TBH the D3's tyres are right on the limit and I really don't want to risk a flat / damage as I'll end up having to shell out for tyres I dont need - I'll have new ones on DS57 next week.
