From memory, AGHD wax was formulated for the secondhand car trade and valeters who want quick, fast results, however, it's not durable. Having spent fortunes on various waxes over the years, prep is absolutely key. For info, search www.detailingworld.co.uk or www.cleanyourcar.co.uk.
I use either Swissvax or dodo (line prime) cleaning fluids to prep the paint and remove the light scratches clay bar is used where necessary. Colinite 476s is good providing you apply two coats and lasts longer than most. I have just started using Jetseal 109 on the Disco, which I hope will last throughout the winter.
If you use hand car washes it's worth remembering they use industrial detergents that remove any wax that's been applied to your paintwork! Colinite is detergent resistant! Current:

I reckon it's the former before anyone shouts at me!!!! 
If there was a solution to protect for winter for us "Take it down the illigal employee car wash and apply some turtle wax when the cat has scratched the bonnet" mob, what would you knowledgeable folk reccomend? i.e. something that maybe is not up to your standards, but would give you reasonable winter protection?

Richard, I think Willys post was in reponse to addicted to nurburgrings post with links to site where he buys his stuff, not your offer (which as you say has been agreed with Martin ).
There is no issue with members posting links/recommendations to other sites on here as long as they've not got a commercial interest in the site they're referring to, I think most of us would buy from Disco3 site sponsors/supporters if they can (and they're competitive) anyway The End
